What is a NAATI certified translation?

A NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) translation is a translation that has been certified by someone duly authorised by the government body in Australia responsible for accrediting translators and interpreters. NAATI certified translations are accepted by all government departments and agencies in Australia, as well as by many other organisations.

If you're looking to have a document translated from Spanish to English and need it to be NAATI certified, you should find a translator who is NAATI accredited for the specific language direction you need (in this case, Spanish to English). You can search for NAATI accredited translators on NAATI’s online directory.

Once you've found an accredited translator, you will need to provide them with the original document in Spanish and any other required information, such as the purpose of the translation. The translator will then translate the document and certify it as a true and accurate translation.

According to NAATI guidelines, the translator should sign and seal both the original document in Spanish and the English translation.
